OWWCO Director Approved COurses

This course covers the requirements to enter a confined space and the legislation, roles and responsibilities on a confined space worksite. 14 hours of instruction allow for 1.4 CEU's to be awarded to successful participants. Air monitoring and safety equipment is reviewed and set up and function tests are carried out. 

This course includes a practical component that allows for 0.6 CEU's to be awarded. 

Participants will cover what WHMIS is, labeling requirements, the information required on labels, where and when they are used in the workplace.

This course covers types of Hazardous energy, Energy Isolation and proper methods in order to isolate hazardous energy.
